Foster Grandparents

The Foster Grandparents Program (FGP) connects older adults with children in need of extra support. Serving as mentors and role models, volunteers help children, from infants to age 21, reach developmental milestones, build academic skills and foster social-emotional growth.

Eligibility is open to individuals 55+ who can commit to 15 to 40 hours per week and meet income guidelines for a tax-free stipend. Benefits include a modest payment, free annual medical screenings, travel reimbursement, and recognition for your invaluable service.
