The Foster Grandparents Program (FGP) connects older adults with children in need of extra support. Serving as mentors and role models, volunteers help children, from infants to age 12, reach developmental milestones, build academic skills and foster social-emotional growth. 

Eligibility is open to individuals 55+ who can commit to 5 to 40 hours per week and meet income guidelines for a tax-free stipend. Benefits include a modest payment, free annual physical exams, travel reimbursement and recognition for your invaluable service.
