TeleBridges

The Span Center’s TeleBridges program helps combat social isolation by connecting older adults with compassionate volunteers who provide regular check-in calls. Many older adults experience loneliness due to health challenges, separation from loved ones, or loss, which can adversely impact their physical and mental well-being. TeleBridges offers comfort and reassurance with two to five weekly calls, giving participants a listening ear and friendly support.

Participants are matched with volunteers who build rapport and trust over time, creating meaningful connections that make a difference. If you’d like to join as a participant or volunteer, please contact:
