Volunteering

Volunteers are essential to The Span Center’s mission. We offer short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities that support a variety of initiatives. Whether you’re interested in office administration or working directly with older adults, we can match you with a role that fits your skills and passions.

Here are some of the ways you can make a meaningful impact:

  • Clerical Assistant Volunteer

Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, mailing, and answering phones.
  • Corporate Volunteering

We offer a range of meaningful and impactful ways for your organization to get involved.
  • Foster Grandparents

The Foster Grandparents Program (FGP) connects older adults with children in need of extra support.
  • TeleBridges Volunteer

Offer friendly reassurance through regular phone calls to seniors. Minimum one-year commitment and background check required.
  • Volunteer Money Management

Help low-income seniors manage finances and pay bills. Minimum one-year commitment and background check required.
