Ride Connection

We help older adults and people with disabilities get where they need to go. Ride Connection explains your transportation choices and helps you feel comfortable using different public & private transportation services. We can also connect you directly with rides for medical appointments.

Ride Connection is a mobility management program that helps older adults and individuals with disabilities access non-emergency medical transportation, supporting safe aging at home and promoting a healthy, connected lifestyle. Our ride counselors provide transportation education, travel training, rides, and referrals to local providers.

Ride Connection services are available to older adults (60+), and individuals (18+) with disabilities receiving SSI or SSDI, who reside in the City of Richmond or the counties of Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, and Powhatan. Eligible riders may receive up to two (2) round-trip rides/month to medical appointments within our service area. We can give transportation options ONLY to Chesterfield & Hanover clients.

We encourage our riders to schedule rides at least 7 days in advance.  We accept donations from riders able to help cover a portion of the cost of their ride.
